Not sure how many tweets are needed to get Kip trending on Twitter, but with over 2000 members on the fb group, is it worth asking all members to tweet (that do and can) a certain pre-determined message at a pre-determined time? - a mass hit all at once might work? ...... xx Yes, that's a good idea. Do we have a Twitter expert that can advise here ? I'd like to know the best time to do this. We'll need at least a 24 hr lead time to make sure everyone knows. Just say what needs pasted in his group and it be done

Nik, I'm wading through the twitter dictionary, from what I can gather, if we can get as many people (users) to twitter (tweet) between certain hours, the topic will headline ... the numbers however are high, but tbh, I think with the following on DL and FB we might just manage if we all pull together - brb just on topics now Just say what needs pasted in his group and it be done

Hi All
I think the best way to get it trending on Twitter will be to ask the fb group to all tweet this message at a certain time, but give 24 hours notice to get as many people on board as possible. By all means I'll tweet Daves message now .... but we need a MASS hit at the same time if we stand any chance of getting it trending.
BTW - message for admins, Jenny Seagrove very kindly re-tweeted my Kip message a couple of days ago. She is also the patron of English Spinger Spaniel Welfare. She may be the kind of celebrity that would support Kips cause publicly that may then catch the eye of the media? and given her patronage, and her twitter name @springmeister I can only assume she is a massive Springer fan!A direct please from one of the co-ordinators to her might be an idea? xxx

Local newspapers:
Northumberland Gazette have been very good.
We need to expand to others. I know people have been in contact, but I will now do a press release.
I can get the publications from MediaUK, but you may have a few suggestions. We need areas where Kip may have been seen. Speculation is not enough for a paper to run a story.

Cockerdoodledoo and Daves, can I leave this for you to action ? Re Jenny Seagrove, doglostprteam follow her on Twitter. Didn't know she was a springer owner, but now I know I'll contact her & her agent.

Great stuff ... Dave, do you want to put a message up on fb about the 7PM "tweet bomb" tomorrow night seeing as you've done a good job on your last post on there Dave has just asked people on Kips fb to tweet about Kip, but to use a #topic in the text that is already trending ..... so it's kind of piggy-backing ! Great idea Dave. Would be an idea to keep reminding people periodically between now and 7pm tomorrow about the mass tweet ("tweet bomb") Dave. Let me know if you're happy to do this, if not let me know and I will xx
